Farewell 2020

I can’t believe we are at the end of this year….finally! Don’t get me wrong….it has been a long time coming, and I am happy to be entering a new year with some positives on the horizon. 2020, unlike any other year before has given us all a wake up to reality check, a time to pause and reflect on what really matters and a much needed chance to see the positives in our lives.

I still question my sanity on trying to open a business during a global pandemic, but my reality was that I could not turn my back on the plan that was in place well prior to COVID’s arrival as I had made that commitment and if I let it go somehow I would be letting COVID win. It has been challenging, but very rewarding as well. As is the case with many, work has always been a means to earn money, not so much a way to provide both joy and financial success. This year I had planned to make both my focus. In many ways, despite the pandemic I have achieved both, working in a world of creativity and positive outcomes for people. Seeing someone’s face light up when they are pleased with one of my creations and how it looks on them, is so pleasing - it gives me great satisfaction. More importantly I feel as though I am sticking to my convictions and realizing that I do have a place in this crazy artistic world, even in the most extenuating, scary, and world altering circumstances.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support and continuing support as we find our way through this mess called COVID-19. My heart goes out to those who has loved and lost, have fought and continue to fight this dreadful pandemic and to those, all of you, who have keep us all safe and put themselves in harms way to keep us safe, fed, healthy and strong, I give my greatest thanks.

See you soon.
